From 27 March 2026 to 28 March 2026, the Herald Publishing Company Pty Ltd trading as the Fremantle Herald, the Perth Voice and the Melville Herald, published articles and social media posts of and concerning the landlord of the property located at 152 High Street, Fremantle.

The Publications contained allegations which are defamatory of the Landlord and have generated further defamatory comments online, which was not the Herald’s intent.

The Herald Publishing Company Pty Ltd accepts that the allegations contained in the Publications were false and defamatory and unreservedly retracts those allegations.

The Herald Publishing Company Pty Ltd sincerely apologises for the damage, distress and embarrassment it has caused to the Landlord.
