ROLFIE’s records aren’t selling, surprise surprise.
However, Record Finder owner Mark Lahogue says notoriety can bring gold for collectors playing on the disgraced entertainer’s conviction this week of 12 child sexual abuse charges.
He says while Rolf Harris’ artworks are being stripped from the walls of galleries and councils (notably Bassendean), not one person has called in to buy his music.
The Party’s On Again, The Man with the Microphone, Sun Arise and Rh Positive are some of the vinyls that investment-minded punters can pick up for about $5.

“It’s difficult to look at these albums in the same way,” Mr Lahogue concedes, trying not to read between the lines of album titles and images of Harris holding phallic-looking mikes.
“I’ve always sold his records which are quite collectible,” he says, noting the manager of the Bay City Rollers was convicted of gross indecency with teenage boys in 1982. He served one year of a three-year sentence.
Facebook chatter and blog forums are unflattering of Harris, though one poster said: “Without even giving it serious thought, I can say that without doubt, if I have the chance to buy some of Rolf’s art at a throwaway price offered by some airhead or feminist seller, I will snap it up.”
