ROBIN JACKSON has been helping house orphaned and abandoned kids in India for a while, and has a volunteering mission coming up early next year. But the former Chook needs cash to run it, as well as fund programs in the Shikshangram shelter for children and surrounding towns. So she’s holding a French high tea at St Paul’s church hall on Hampton Road, Beaconsfield on August 2. There’ll be raffles, silent auction, video screenings and talks. A 42-YEAR-OLD Attadale man was one of eight people arrested this week in connection with an alleged paedophile ring that’s accused of abusing one alleged member’s daughter for two years. Police allege the father organised meetings between the daughter and the other charged men, where they recorded themselves raping her. The un-named Attadale man was charged with 61 offences including four counts of sexual penetration of a child under 13 and 48 counts of indecent recordings, and he will appear in court on August 17. The father faces 228 charges including three counts of drugging the girl to commit sex acts, aggravated sexual penetration, inciting a child to an indecent act and having sex with a lineal relative. One of the men was allegedly in possession of four million child porn images.
