The Hungarian yellow wax might be mild, but Araluen’s Fremantle Chilli Festival helper Mason Kelly reckons there’s plenty of fire in some of the varieties on offer this year. The festival’s celebrating its 14th year and is again down on Fremantle’s Esplanade reserve this weekend from 10–5pm. Depending on your chilli fetish, there’s beer, cocktails, sauces and even ice cream.
