AN independent licensed valuer commissioned by the Fremantle Society to look at the Kings Square business plan has described some valuations as “not sound”.
The valuer says the council’s claim its new admin building (without land) would be worth $97 million in 20 years time is “absurd”.
The society says it adds fuel to its call for the deal to be scrapped when it lapsed in May and for the council to rethink its square plans.
It’ll be discussing the isse at a meeting at Tannock Hall on the corner of Cliff St and Croke Lane on Wednesday April 20 at 7pm.

Great to see finally the Fremantle society back doing what it was set up to do.
Now it seems like a community group worth joining again as it had seemed to have become a tool of council
