Zambrero offers healthy and modern Mexican food. The menu is packed with mouthwatering delights such as burritos, tacos, nachos and quesadillas all made to order with the freshest ingredients. Open for just 2 months, the Spearwood outlet is owned and operated by Joe and Vicki Borovina. Vicki stumbled across Zambrero while taking a lunch break during her former career as an oncology chemist. Being vegan and health conscious, her options for eating out were limited. Vicki was so impressed with what she found at Zambrero that she and Joe decided to buy a franchise.

“I loved the Zambrero concept from the start –  the food, the freshness and the vegetarian and vegan options. I also loved the organic black rice bowl incorporating superfoods such as amaranth seeds and spirulina. Plus I was impressed with Zambrero’s Plate 4 Plate program, an initiative committed to tackling world hunger. For every bowl or burrito sold instore, a plate of food is donated to someone in need,” said Vicki.
