THE Winter Festival ice rink in Fremantle is up and running and is looking a treat already.
Moved to a new location on the other side of the Esplanade Reserve, the festival has a two-storey marquee with a toboggan run which should be a great hit with adults and kids alike.
The giant pop-up inflatable slide is back, while people can also jump into the Tube Dudes to roll themselves around the park to the finish line.

For mum and dad there’s a bigger pop-up bar than ever, run by the fabulous Karl Bullers and his team from the National Hotel.
There’s also DJs, bands and family-friendly entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights.
And, of course, skating on Perth’s only outdoor ice rink wouldn’t be the same for the littlies without those incredibly cute little penguins to help them along.
It’s all running until July 17, and with the new location being on the Italian Club car park, the mud of last year will only be a memory.
