Cockburn junior athletes Kate Thorne and Jacob Wolter-Karabatic took out medals at an international competition last week. Competing in Singapore, Cockburn Little Athletics had four members in the WA squad.

Jacob won gold in the 4×400 relay and bronze in the 200 metre hurdles with a time of 26.17 seconds. Kate took silver in the high jump, reaching a lofty 1.5 metres.
