More than just exercise
Want to reduce your stress, have a calmer mind and improve your circulation, balance and posture? Join a beginner’s class in Taoist Tai Chi at our Fremantle or Subiaco branch. Or just come to an Open House to find out what it’s about.
Taoist Tai Chi is a volunteer, non-profit and charitable organisation; instructors are not paid, they volunteer. Learn a gentle set of movements which use turning and stretching.
These movements reach deep inside the body improving strength and flexibility while helping to restore the calmness and peace of mind often lost through the pressures of our daily lives.
The first class is free, so why not give it a go? Come to an Open House, watch a demo, have tea and a snack and join in a “have a go” session.

Have fun and get fit playing Futsal!
Have fun and get fit playing Futsal! A modified form of soccer played with five players per side on a smaller, indoor pitch, Futsal is fast, fun and exciting. A sport in its own right, futsal is a very safe sport, because no slide tackling is allowed. Famous professional soccer players like Ronaldo, Juninho, Maradona, Rivelino and even the great Pele all played Futsal in their childhood.
As the Futsal ball has low bounce qualities, it spends much more time on the floor which is excellent for development of skills and ball control. The smaller area in which the game is played demands quick decision making, movements off the ball and intensity.
The WA State Futsal Centre’s friendly atmosphere and expert coaching has attracted players from all over the metro area, including many women. The centre is equipped with two purpose built courts, with seating for up to 150 spectators.
