A POLICE forensics team was this week back following up a new lead at the Lloyd Street residence where 54-year-old Michael John Warrilow was found dead on February 5.

The South Fremantle lodging house resident was believed by neighbours to have been one of three people in the house, yet police are yet to lay any charges.

Friends of the owner told the Herald he was still in Fremantle Hospital having suffered bleeding on the brain due to a severe beating.
