Noongar storytelling

THIS week 500 students were immersed in Noongar storytelling as a part of the Aboriginal Australian Kids Story (Woylie) Festival.

Students were welcomed to country by Noongar elder Marie Taylor, and heard stories from the likes of Noel and Alison Nannup, and Kerry-Ann and Karen Winmar. Artist Kamsani Bin Salleh (above) was busy holding workshops with Winterfold Primary School students.
