DOGGIE heaven has opened at the revamped East Fremantle Oval, with 4000sqm of grass where they can exercise and mingle with their poochie pals. 

The new exercise area, which can be accessed off Allen Street, comes with two bench seats, a bin for doggie bags and a drinking fountain; but owners will need a leash on hand in case there’s any hard feelings over bum-sniffing.

Deputy mayor Tony Natale said it would help foster a sense of community and provide a space for dogs to exercise and socialist. 

“It’s heartening to hear how many community members are excited about this wonderful space,” Cr Natale said.
