MT PLEASANT is one of the Chook’s favourite suburbs.
The cycle path along the Swan River is a glorious affair and you can do a little loop that passes over the Mt Henry and Canning Bridges.
Historically the suburb was a bit light on places to eat and drink, but in recent years we have seen The Pav open and a spate of new eateries at the Canning Bridge Precinct. Mt Pleasant now has the complete package and is one of the most desirable spots south of the river.

This three bedroom two bathroom home is situated on Reynolds Road, not far from the massive and very handy Woolworths.
Situated on a rear block, it’s private and quiet, and well setback from the road.
There’s plenty of room in the open plan living/dining/kitchen area. The tiled floor is low maintenance and will be nice and cool in the summer months.

The high ceilings and downlights enhance the sense of space and there’s plenty of natural light.
Slightly off to the side is the kitchen.
It’s a long galley-style number with plenty of benchtop space, a double sink and gas cooktop.

It’s bright and airy thanks to the wide window over the sink and there’s an alcove giving you extra space (it could potentially be used as a pantry).
From the lounge you have direct access to the patio through a set of sliding glass doors.
The sheltered alfresco has plenty of room and is fringed by cute garden beds.
The area is fine as-is, but there’s potential to turn this into a great entertaining area with a pizza oven, BBQ and lounge setting.

The carpeted bedrooms are a good size with the main featuring built-in robes and a nice ensuite with huge shower.
The family bathroom has a bath and shower, so no more queues after you’ve been to the beach.
The home includes a separate lounge, ducted evaporative AC and two split-system units, storage room, and a double garage.
This is a spacious and relaxing family home in a great suburb.
