South Street Ale House has done something not many has done. They’ve done it all – and mastered it all. Master of the pub scene, master of entertainment including live music and karaoke and master of fine dining. In a few words, master of all.
While other venues ‘niche’ it and sweat over their one “thing” – South St Ale House does a variety of “things”. And they do them well.

Downstairs in the two storey building is a modern pub with a hint of the old-fashioned which includes a pool table and 13 beers on tap. Here, you can sit back or rock it to live music, karaoke, fashion shows or cheer on your sports team on Fox 40 over a good ol’ fashion beer with the blokes. Or the girls.
Upstairs you can enjoy fine dining with family and friends or a romantic night out. Indulge in a seafood platter for two. Or a lamb rump, or the “twice cooked pork belly”. And when you’re done, you can go past the bottle shop on your way out if you need to pick something up on your way. Or make a mental note to drive through next time.
