A PINJARRA man has been charged with threatening to kill after allegedly shooting at his sister in Fremantle on Monday night.

Shaun Jose, 32, was also charged with going armed to cause fear, discharging a firearm in a manner to cause fear, possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition, altering a firearm and breaching a violence restraining order.

The alleged attack occurred outside 100 Hampton Road, the former Ocean View Lodge.

The siblings, neither of them residents of the complex, are said to have met around 9.20pm and argued for a few minutes when Jose pulled a firearm from underneath his jumper and allegedly shot twice at his sister before running from the site.

The unharmed woman called police from the building and Jose was arrested an hour later in Pinjarra. He will be held in custody until his next court appearance September 22.
