FREMANTLE will be given “special resourcing considerations” under a new carve-up of police districts implemented this week by Police commissioner Chris Dawson.

Mr Dawson ditched the bigger is better mantra during his overhaul, saying smaller districts will be more manageable, but he promised more resources for Fremantle because of the challenges of police an entertainment district.
